Parker Montessori has SMALL HANDS THAT HELPS.
We are always looking for opportunity for our children to learn and experience the joy of giving back to the community. We strongly believe in teaching empathy and the need to serve others who may not be as fortunate as us.

filled with ornaments that are requested from families in need during the holiday season. We have been privileged to serve the Parker Task Force, Ronald McDonald House Charities and other organizations. We have been teaming up with Palmer Elementary school in Aurora the last few years. We typically select families to aid who have children closer to our children’s age. Our generous families will involve their children in the shopping for items requested by our adoptive family. We want the students to experience the joy of giving, and know they can help.
We team up with the Parker Task Force for an annual food can drive. Our older children will organize food items by category and makes a field trip to Parker Task force with the goodies our families donate. This helps us with sorting, our math and writing skills and be part of a viable community in our neighborhood.
We have an annual Bike-athon to benefit St Jude’s Hospital. All students from toddlers and up participate in it. It is a fun event for the kiddos and the adults.
We had another opportunity this year to have a drive to benefit an elementary school, Texas that was affected by Hurricane Harvey. Our students and families collected school supplies and Parker Montessori shipped it to Houston. We were happy to read the big thank you letter from our friends in Houston.
Our children visit the senior centers in our neighborhood few times a year. We go trick-o-treat to the Senoir center and do a costume parade. The children also enjoy singing to the senior citizens. The seniors appreciate the children visiting them. This gives our children an opportunity to bring joy to our elders.
